The Australian Volleyball Schools Cup is structured around a set calendar of key dates to create clarity and alignment for schools to plan toward.
The following are the key dates set for the 2022 event:
Online Team Nominations Open
Tuesday 25th October (5pm AEDT)
International Teams – Nominations to be accompanied by their national federation ranking where multiple teams are seeking entry into the same division.
Eligibility exemption requests close
Wildcard nominations close
Long service nominations close
Member state associations are provided nomination lists to verify membership within each state/territory
Teams withdrawing from the competition from this date forfeit half their entry fee
TOC will review all exemption and wild card applications
Wednesday 26th October
Exemption requests confirmed and announced
Wildcard nominations confirmed and announced
Confirmation of entry sent to schools
Ensure all players, staff and referees names are correct. Ensure the nominated division/s, players DOB and membership numbers are all correct. Ensure principal has signed off on school entries.
Wednesday 9th November
Confirmation of entry documentation due
Tax invoice sent to school
Teams withdrawing from the competition after this date forfeit their entire entry fee
Wednesday 23rd November
Venues by division will be released
This includes information about which venue each division will be playing at on any particular day so schools can arrange their transport accordingly.
Team Entry Payments Due
Entry fees received after this date will incur a $100 late entry fee
Draft tournament draw published on tournament website and emailed to confirmed coaches
Monday 28th November
Draft tournament draw published on event website
Player list cut off
All players must be finalised by 5:00pm AEST and changes approved by the school principal. No further changes are permitted after this time.
