Flights

Volleyball Australia has negotiated special group and individual airfares to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. We already have group flights secured and these will be allocated on a first in, first served basis. Group flights from the following cities are secured:

  • Melbourne
  • Sydney
  • Adelaide
  • Perth
  • Canberra
  • Hobart
  • Cairns
  • Townsville
  • Mackay

  • Secured seats at the cheapest price  possible for bookings made up to 12 months in advance.
  • Additional baggage allowance

For individuals and supporters, we also have special Schools Cup event airfares from most Australian airports into the Gold Coast and Brisbane. For all airfare bookings, please contact simone@sportslinktravel.com .

Accommodation

With such a large number of participants set to descend on the Gold Coast for the event, we have secured a range of exclusive Schools Cup options with a majority of accommodation providers to offer their best available rates and links to a wide range of properties, including apartments, hotels, hostels, holiday parks, recreation centers and even private residences. We have confirmed a number of different properties that are providing preferred rates for Schools Cup which will be the LOWEST RATES AVAILABLE for this period. In addition, we have established a booking partner through SportsLink Travel to access all our available properties on the Gold Coast for this period. Choosing to use our listed accommodation will give you access to additional services including transfers, group dinners, social events and sightseeing options.

We have provided opportunities for schools to book their accommodation either online, directly with the property, or through our travel service.

Due to the large number of people at the event, we recommend making your accommodation bookings early as properties will sell out quickly

Our travel partner, Sportslink Travel can provide a full range of transport services for Schools Cup

  • Shuttle service to matches

They have negotiated special Schools Cup rates for bus, van and car hire. Once flight details are confirmed for teams, they can arrange group or individual transfers as required. Due to the large number of people travelling, it is likely the event will exceed the number of hire vehicles available in the region.
